Understanding Sexual Harassment and Sexual Misconduct in the Beverage Alcohol Industry

Women of the Vine and Spirits, through their key initiative 86 Harassment, has collaborated with RAINN, the largest anti-sexual violence organization in the U.S., to develop this survey to help members of the alcohol & beverage industry better understand how sexual harassment and other forms of sexual misconduct may be impacting workplaces, hospitality spaces, employees, and guests.

We recognize that victims and perpetrators can be of any sex and encourage participation from everyone.
Things to know about the survey
  • The survey should take approximately 5 minutes to complete and all questions are optional. We encourage you to write comments which may take additional time.
  • At the end of the survey, participants will be provided with some immediate feedback about steps they can take, both individually and organizationally, to help foster greater safety from sexual misconduct.
  • The survey will also be used to gather information across the industry and help inform education, policies, and practices to help the industry develop greater intolerance of sexual misconduct in all its forms.
  • The individual results of this survey will only be seen by RAINN and only aggregated information will be shared with Women of the Vine and Spirits (for example: 23% of respondents who took the survey felt xyz.)
  • All responses are confidential.
