Funders consultation – draft Safeguarding Standard for Funders

This survey gathers feedback on the draft Safeguarding Standard for Funders. The Standard aims to promote grant-making practices that support organisations to keep people safe.

By giving us your feedback, you will help shape the standard. Before completing the survey, please review the draft standard.

This survey takes about 15 minutes to complete. You can answer as many or as few questions as you choose. We are not asking you to officially respond on behalf of your organisation. Instead, we would like you to share your individual perspective on how the standard might be used by your organisation and other funders with which you are familiar.

Responses to this survey will be held confidentially by the Funder Safeguarding Collaborative and will not be shared with any other parties. We only request personal details (name, email) in order to contact you about the consultation, and sharing this information is optional. Please refrain from sharing or disclosing any other personally identifiable information throughout this survey.

The survey closes on 25th September 2026.

If you have any questions or would like to provide more detailed feedback, please email: fsc_info@fundersafeguardingcollaborative.org.

This survey is for grant making organisations only. Not a funder but would still like to contribute? Please contact btranle@accountablenow.org

A note on language: Throughout this survey, we use the term ‘safeguarding’ to refer to measures which aim to prevent harm and protect those at risk of harm. Even if you do not use the term ‘safeguarding’, we would still welcome your views on the Standard and the proposed measures to keep people safe.
