BCIA is undertaking a survey with members to understand the current provision being utilised by employers for higher level (L6 and above) qualifications for their employees.

With the successful implementation of the Level 4 BEMS Controls Engineer Apprenticeship that has recently seen its first Controls Engineer successfully complete end point assessment, interest is growing in a suitable follow-on route through to Level 6 that could support talent attraction and retention for our industry, drive up skills levels and quality standards across the sector and importantly, for people entering or in the industry potentially provides scope for a fully-funded career pathway from Level 3 (T-levels) to Level 6 (degree).
