Capacity Development

SfTI will fund you to do NZ-based activities that develop your human or relational skills.

If any of your work or time is supported by SfTI funding, we will cover the reasonable costs for you to do capacity development activities.
  1. Obtain email approval from either your Theme Leader or Spearhead Leader for your activity. Forward the approval to Raewyn.Tse@callaghaninnovation.govt.nz
  2. Complete this online application form.
  3. Book your travel, registration and accommodation following confirmation that your application has been successful. Your institution will first need to pay or reimburse you. Your institute should then invoice us for final reimbursement.
When you have completed your Capacity Development activity, you will be asked to complete an online feedback form within 10 working days.

  1. collect, and received information (including personal information) from you;
  2. use the data and/or information you provide us to generate reports, research publications, analyse data and create promotional material; and;
  3. disclose this information to research providers who SfTI wishes to engage, in each case for the purpose of meeting the SfTI Mission.
