The Nenana Native Association and Nenana City School District are implementing the Accessing Choices In Education (ACE) Athabascan Native Connections Program to integrate Athabascan traditions into the educational curriculum for students. This initiative aims to enrich learning with cultural activities, including crafts, outdoor activities, and traditional events. It seeks to improve academic and social outcomes by enhancing access to culturally relevant services and activities, with expected benefits including better attendance and improved English Language Arts performance.
