Shoot for the Moon

Each year the Georgia Charter Schools Association recognizes a charter school leader of the year.  The Shoot for the Moon award winner is an outstanding leader who continually goes above and beyond the call of duty!
Nomination Criteria
  • Must have served in a school leadership role, at the current school, for at least three (3) years
  • Strong evidence of improved academic outcomes for students
  • Displays balanced and collaborative leadership
  • Creates a culture of engagement with stakeholders
In order to complete the evaluation process, each nominee will be asked to submit a resume and a list with at least three (3) professional references.  Please take a few minutes to think about each of these questions and how your nominee approaches these standards.
