Parent Survey

We have planned intentionally to focus on our school climate and culture. A big part of that effort is to gather data to help us understand the current climate and plan for improvements. This survey is designed to help the leadership team of LWHS understand how parents/caregivers perceive or experience the climate at LWHS. We created the prompts using guidance from the National Center on Safe and Supportive Learning Environments (USDOE), which are designed to elicit information relevant to the three domains that comprise school climate.  

 

We will be administering the survey to students from May 24th through May 26th through school email. Parent surveys will open from May 24th through May 27th.

 

The survey is designed in such a way that responses are anonymous; no one on this administrative team or elsewhere can match responses to respondents.  

 

Data will be visible by stakeholder group and then by subgroups within each stakeholder group, none of which are small enough to threaten anonymity.

 

Results will be shared in aggregate, by domain, by stakeholder group and some subgroups with the entire school community before the end of the school year.

 

The leadership team at LWHS -- along with a representative group of parents, community members, staff, and students -- will analyze the data to identify and understand areas of strength and need.  Together, we will use the data to plan for the 2022-23 school year.
