Survey of CCA Employers

To determine where the Ontario CCA Board should focus efforts over the next three years, we are conducting a survey of CCA members, employers of CCAs and also of other industry stakeholder groups to solicit input on the activities of the Ontario CCA Association and feedback on what could be done better.  There are nine questions plus one at the end for any additional comments you would like to make.

The results of this survey will help guide the Ontario CCA Board in developing a new strategic plan for the Ontario CCA Association. Your opinions are very important, thank you for sharing them with us.
1.In which segment of agriculture is your company engaged?
2.In your opinion, what value does the CCA designation and CCAs in general provide to crop production and to growers?  Check all that apply. If you don’t feel there is any value, please explain using the “other” selection.
3.How much value do you think the CCA designation, through your employees who are CCAs, provides to your company?
4.In your opinion, what role do you feel the Ontario CCA Association should fill in the crop production sector and regarding representing CCAs? Check all that apply.
5.Please list any areas in which you feel CCAs and the CCA Association should not be involved.
6.In your opinion, what are the top three agronomic issues or opportunities for CCAs and their grower customers?  The next question will ask you about broader agricultural issues. Please only select three.
7.In your opinion, what are the top three issues facing the crop production sector more broadly?  Please only select three.
8.Currently, CCA Ontario does not actively market or promote the CCA designation specifically to students and recent graduates (to become CCAs). In your opinion, should the association take a more targeted approach to encouraging students and recent grads to pursue a CCA designation?
