Information Regarding This Survey

In the event that Lum has to close and  students have to be assigned to other schools, this survey will provide staff and the board of education with the values of the Lum parent community. Below is some important information to understand prior to taking this survey.
1. There are no possible scenarios where the district can relocate all TK-3rd grade students together.
2. It is not feasible to locate entire grade levels together at the same school.
3. 4th and 5th grade students can stay together if the district created an elementary program on the Wood campus for 2 years.
4. The plan that is decided on by the board of education will remain in place for a minimum of 3 years, with the exception of the Wood middle school scenario which will only be in place for 2 years. This plan will be in place while the board decides on the long term plan for the Lum campus.

* 1. If Lum is to remain open in the 17-18 school year, how many students do you have in your household that will be attending?

* 2. In what grades will your children be in the 2017-18 school year?

* 3. In the event that the school district has to reassign Lum students to other schools next school year, what are the priorities they should consider in their plan? (Please rank your choices.)

* 4. Only answer if you will have a 4th grade student enrolled at Lum  for the 17-18 school year. If a 4th and 5th grade program is established in the portables next to Wood, with its own bell schedule and lunch, which would you prefer for your 4th grader?:

* 5. Only answer if you will have a 5th grade student enrolled at Lum for the 17-18 school year. If a 4th and 5th grade program is established in the portables next to Wood, with its own bell schedule and lunch, which would you prefer for your 5th grader?:

* 6. Only answer if you will have a kindergarten-third grade student at Lum in the 17-18 school year. Which of these possible scenarios for distributing the Lum K-3 enrollment do you prefer?
