The ClayHouston board has been discussing the importance of increasing access and inclusivity in ceramic arts. ClayHouston’s mission has always been to bring together ceramic artists from the greater Houston area, to share our love of clay, learn from each other and provide opportunities for professional development as well as exposure of our work to the broader community.

We have developed an initial list of potential actions and would welcome your feedback on how effective you believe each initiative would be in supporting our goals of increasing community engagement, fostering a love of ceramics, and broadening inclusivity and access to ceramic arts opportunities among a wider range of Houston's established and future ceramic artists. Some of these actions would involve a one-time use of some unused 2020 funds in the near term and some reflect longer-term commitments as we move forward.

Please let us know how effective you think each of the following actions would be in achieving our objectives. We have also included free response questions at the end for additional ideas or feedback. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us!
