Survey of Needs of Older Adults - H

We are your neighbours (volunteers) interested in the changing needs of older adults and their households who live in the area between Davenport Rd. to the north, Ossington Ave. to the west, Dundas W. St. to the south and Spadina Ave/Rd. to the east. One idea being discussed is for older adults to have a hub in the community to enhance aging at home. While that idea is being developed, we hope as well to boost programming for older adults at the Bob Abate Community Centre which is near Christie and Bloor West Streets. This survey grew out of discussions at several meetings held at the community centre over the last few months. Once we know more about what community members want and need, we will work with community centre staff and other volunteers to bring about changes. Please let us know what you think.
