***The Living Tombstone is the artist that was most voted for, and he has expressed interest in this project! Please go to the followup survey and tell me whether or not you are interested in Tombstone's music on vinyl!***

The followup survey can be found here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/P79Y328

This survey was made to determine interest in what I am calling the Bronies on Vinyl project. I am looking into vinyl record pressing services that could be enlisted to produce physical records of brony songs by musicians in the community. I wanted to do this because I personally thought it would be cool to create and distribute physical brony media.
To be cost effective, the records would need to be mass produced in quantities in at least the hundreds. However, I won't do this unless there is a real market for it, because of the money involved. I am not affiliated with any official record labels, so a large percentage of the money can go straight to the artist(s) involved, so it would be a great way to support them and get a physical piece of brony history, as well as a high quality version of the album or song list (depending on who ends up being involved).
I don't know how many people out there have turntables, and of those, how many would be willing to pay money for a vinyl record of brony songs (I don't have any way to play a record myself, but if I get them into production I plan to invest in one so that I may enjoy the records). It is also important to note that the process will take a lot of time if I go through with it. I will need to get in contact with the company and the artists, and the manufacturing process alone takes several weeks, and I may not be able to begin production until next summer, but I can't do anything until I gauge the community's interest.
If the first run goes well, I will try to get more musicians involved, as well as continue production of the record that will serve as a test for the market. Each disc will likely be 15 to 17 dollars, depending on the size of the disc, production costs, and many factors that will be determined with the artist.

One more thing; I can't start production until i'm sure there is enough interest! If only 30 people take the survey, I can't be sure we can sell 500 records! It would help a ton if you could spread the link for this survey around to as many people as possible! The more people that respond, the better the idea of the market will be! Thank you!

Question Title

* 1. Do you have any way to play a vinyl record?

Question Title

* 2. I will need to work directly with brony musicians to make vinyl records of their music. I want to choose one artist to test the market, and it will need to be a musician who has enough fans to have a good chance of selling all of the records that are produced in the first run, which will likely be around 500 (it may be lower if the interest is decent, but not high enough for 500 to be sold). I will provide several potential candidates, who are well known musicians with several thousand views on their songs, but by no means am I restricting your choices to these artists. If you strongly wish for me to try and get a certain artist who isn't on this list, write them in, and if there are enough write ins for a certain artist, I will do a followup survey and add them in the list. I can't guarantee I will get any of these musicians on board, so please fill in your first choice for the brony musician who you would want to see in a vinyl record, and the following questions will be second and third choices. I will throw out some names of various artists to get it started.

Question Title

* 3. Please provide your second choice for a brony whose music you would buy on a record. This will give an alternative artist in the event the first choice either can't or does not wish to have their music on vinyl record. Again, this is by no means a complete list, there are a lot of really talented musicians that aren't there. That's what the write in box is for.

Question Title

* 4. Please provide your third choice for a brony whose music you would buy on a record. This will give an alternative artist in the event the second choice either can't or does not wish to have their music on vinyl record. Again, this is by no means a complete list, there are a lot of really talented musicians that aren't there. That's what the write in box is for.
