Parent Peer Support and Supervision of PPS Providers Training (FREDLA)

Thank you for your interest in attending the Family Peer Support Specialist Supervisor Training. The Family Peer Support Specialist (FPSS) role is new to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Each FPSS has direct experience as a parent/caregiver that is or has raised a child or children with mental health challenges and they are trained to work with other families that are struggling. Supervision of these staff members requires an understanding of the role and the job skills that they acquire through a five day training,  so that you can provide supervision and appropriate professional development for these new members of your team.
Please take a minute to complete the following questionnaire.  Since this is a new program, we are interested in learning more about the key stakeholders that will contribute to the program’s success.  The information will be used for continuous quality improvement purposes only.

If you have any questions about the training, please contact the Family Peer Support Specialist Program Coordinator, Jill Santiago, at: santiagoj@upmc.edu
