Shooting Australia, together with the Member Organisations, would like to thank and acknowledge the work of the many Coaches, Officials, Clubs and Volunteers who are actively engaged in our sporting community.

We are now taking nominations for the 2020 Shooting Australia Coach, Official, Volunteer and Club of the Year Awards. This is your chance to publicly thank and acknowledge the contributions made by a Coach, Official, Volunteer or Club. Any individual, Club or State can nominate an individual or Club they believe is worthy of recognition and meets the nomination criteria.

SA Coach of the Year must be an active Volunteer Coach who has continued to make an outstanding contribution to coaching in 2020 and demonstrates:

- A commitment to quality coaching
- Coached Athlete development, progress and outcomes
- Support and development that contributes to the education of coaches more broadly
- The use of innovative or new ideas or techniques to improve coaching and Athlete performance
- An overall positive impact in coaching within the Shooting Sports
 
SA Official of the Year must be an active Official who has continued to make an outstanding contribution to Officiating in 2020 and demonstrates:

- A commitment to officiating
- A proven positive impact on other Officials and event delivery
- Support, develop and a contribute to the education of Officials more broadly
- An overall positive impact in Officiating within the Shooting Sports
 
SA Volunteer of the Year needs to be an active Volunteer who has continued to make an outstanding contribution to the Sport of Shooting in 2020 and demonstrates:

- A commitment to Volunteering
- A positive contribution to their Club, State or National Association
- A significant contribution through their actions, work and time commitment to the sport of Shooting
- Selfless work for the betterment of their Club, State or National Association
- An overall positive impact in Volunteering within the Shooting Sports
 
SA Club of the Year needs to be an active Club that has continued to make an outstanding contribution to the Sport of Shooting in 2020 and demonstrates:

- A positive and welcoming experience for Members and Guests
- The delivery of good governance
- The ability to develop opportunities for Coaches, Officials, Athletes and Volunteers
- Inclusivity
- An ability to promote the Shooting Sports to the Community as a means to increase Club registrations
