211 is a free confidential three-digit phone number people can call from anywhere in the state to get connected to community services they need.
In Washington State, 211 is provided by seven independent nonprofit agencies that operate regional 211 call centers.
Professional information and referral specialists at each 211 call center use a comprehensive resource database maintained by regional resource data curators to locate and provide referrals to specific services in the caller’s community.
