2027 Planetary Health Alliance Impact Fellow Application

The Planetary Health Alliance invites dedicated and innovative individuals to apply for our prestigious fellowship program. This opportunity is designed for emerging leaders who are committed to advancing the field of Planetary Health—an interdisciplinary approach that recognizes the interconnectedness of human health and the health of our planet.

As a fellow, you will engage with a vibrant community of researchers, practitioners, and policymakers. You will have access to resources, mentorship from leading experts, and the chance to contribute to transformative solutions that promote both ecological sustainability and human well-being.

The Fellowship has two core components: mentoring a small group of designated Planetary Health Campus Ambassadors, and completing an independent project. This year PHA has outlined a specific policy focused project that we would like the new Impact Fellow to work on. Information on the project are on the next page and our website.

Applicants should have a background in public policy, public health, environmental studies, law, governance, or a related field, along with strong research, writing, and synthesis skills. Experience conducting literature reviews, developing policy or research summaries, and working collaboratively across teams is preferred. Familiarity with Planetary Health, climate policy, environmental justice, or science communication is highly desirable.

Join us in shaping the future of Planetary Health and making a lasting impact on our world!

Application closes at 11:59pm ET on November 18th.
