Lord Roberts Elementary PAC Annual Survey

This survey is used to direct the time, energy and funding of the Parent Advisory Committee.

Please take 10 minutes to complete the 13 questions below.

Advocating with VSB, Parks Board and City as required for beautifying and improving usability of indoor and outdoor spaces

Events and activities that build connection, pride, and community within our school

Increasing the ability of parents and families of kids in the same class to connect

Promoting active transportation (walking, cycling, scootering to school) and making our streets safer

Develop or continue programs for teachers to help them optimize their classroom/access to tools to teach
Ie. Setting up shared supply room/system, driving in-kind donations, driving chaperone participation, etc

Develop a parent position and advocate regarding changes to West End Schools (Roberts Annex removal, Coal Harbour Build, King George renovation)

Promoting walking and cycling through walk and roll to school weeks with raffles twice/year.

Advocate for changes to Comox Street (for separated bike lane and eliminate drop off parking area) that would make the street safer.

A parent evening with our school police officer discussing safety and our children (including safety around our neighbourhood)

Implementing a crossing guard program

A rain gear/bike/scooter swap
