North Sydney Council is seeking a temporary mobile coffee vendor to operate at the Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability in Waverton. The vendor will serve coffee, tea, and small pre-packaged refreshments (e.g. pastries, muffins) to site visitors while the permanent café tenancy is being filled.
Location: Upper Platform, The Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability, 2 Balls Head Drive, Waverton.
Trading Hours: 7:30am – 1:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays (with potential for additional days if desired). Bump-in from 7:00am.
Duration: Until the new café tenant is operational. Council will provide two weeks’ notice to cease trading when required. Council can also give two weeks notice at its discretion, if any issues arise.
Site Details: Approx. 6m x 6m concrete area (flexible to vendor needs).
Power available on site.
Access to recycling and landfill bins.
No site fee for vendors.
Purpose: To maintain coffee and light refreshment service for visitors during high visitation periods while the Coal Loader Café space is vacant.
