2024 INDUSTRY SKILLS DEMAND MEMBER SURVEY

GENERAL QUESTIONS

BACKGROUND

The Visual Media Association (VMA) continues to lobby the government and represent industry across skills and training.

Considering the long-term trend of declining completion rates and skill shortages across the Australian economy, the Government has decided to commission a Strategic Review of the Apprenticeship Incentive System to ensure that incentives and other non-financial support are designed to optimise completion rates and address skill shortages to provide the skilled workers needed for Australia’s growing economy.

The scope of this review seeks to include detailed inputs through industry consultation. Therefore, we are seeking member and industry feedback via this survey to advocate our industry’s actual position, our future requirements and suggested improvements to the current incentive system. We would greatly appreciate if members can provide answers to the following questions for that purpose.
