We want to hear your idea for this year's Hauser's Mudcat Marathon Saturday race medal!

If your design idea is chosen, you will win a $50 gift certificate to the Runner's Den OR free entry into the 2020 race of your choice (or your fee reimbursed if you have already registered).

The Saturday race medal is earned by participants of the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, Riverfront 10k and Riverfront 5k.
We welcome all ideas of many formats. If you simply have a concept in mind, explain it below. If you want to sketch the entire medal by hand or digitally, we'll happily accept that too! We can't wait to see what you come up with!

Rules and Regulations:
  • The deadline to submit a response is January 31 at 11:59pm EST.
  • Entries are limited to one per person.
  • The sole purpose of this contest is to use the winning design in our 2020 Saturday race medal.
  • Entrants retain the right to utilize, publish or sell the designs/concepts they have submitted.
  • Submissions must not infringe on copyright or other intellectual property rights.
  • Submissions will be reviewed and judged by our 2020 Hauser's Mudcat Marathon race committee.
  • There may be elements of designs submitted that overlap with our existing ideas and we reserve the right to use them. (ie. incorporating the mudcat fish)
  • We reserve the right to use aspects of any ideas for future race medal designs. If your exact design is used in future medals, you will be notified and compensated at that time. 
  • If you do not win but elements of your design are useful for our other medals, you will be entered in to win one of two $20 gift cards.
  • Race management and the medal manufacturer reserve the right to make any edits to the winning design as needed.
