With the labor market evolving rapidly, The NABE Foundation are stepping up to support economists, analysts, statisticians, and professionals navigating career transitions. To empower networking and career growth, The NABE Foundation is pleased to offer a special scholarship opportunity for recently unemployed professionals.

Please review the eligibility requirements and scholarship application below.

To be eligible, you must be:
  • Recently unemployed and actively seeking a new position in economics or statistics.
– OR –
  • Have accepted an early retirement package and plan to begin a job search for a position in 2025.

A panel of reviewers will evaluate applications based on financial need, career goals, and the overall strength of the personal statement. Selected recipients will be notified within one week of the application deadline.

Scholarship Terms:
  • Selected non-member applications will receive a one-year, complimentary NABE Membership.
  • Scholarships apply to new registrations only.
  • Scholarships will be awarded for specific events and must be used for the designated event.
  • All travel-related expenses are the responsibility of the scholarship recipient.
  • Any unused scholarship funds will be forfeited.
