If your TEAS score was below 60 you are not eligible to apply - STOP NOW.
  • You must have already taken the TEAS test and achieved a TEAS score (not TEAS + points) 60 or higher. 
    • If your TEAS score was below 60 - STOP NOW.
    • Score must be sent to HACC (on the ATI website) (program/campus doesn't make a difference 
    • If you re-take the TEAS after this application the new score will not count and you may not re-apply.
  • Continuing students must have and maintain a 2.5 overall GPA by the first day of the first clinical term.
  • Your high school transcripts must be on file in Admissions (admission@hacc.edu)
  • You must have Biology 121 and developmental math (beyond Math 080) and English completed prior to the first day of the first clinical semester.

Due to the number of students on the Harrisburg Campus, we must offer both day and evening clinical rotations.  At times, it is necessary for students to participate in evening clinical rotations.  We will try to pair students, when possible, with their preference for clinical.  If you have a preference, please select it.  PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT BASED ON NUMBERS, SHOULD WE BE UNABLE TO HONOR THIS REQUEST, ALL STUDENTS ARE SUBJECT TO PARTICIPATION IN BOTH DAY AND EVENING EXPERIENCES. 

Daytime: Times Vary: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM; 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Evening: Times Vary: 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM; 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

Clinical on the Lancaster and York Campuses are primarily Daytime hours.

Please note that all TEAS scores are verified on the ATI website. If you did not take the TEAS at HACC go onto the ATI website right away and have the score sent to HACC (campus, etc. does not make a difference).

* 20. Previous Education. Do you have a degree from a regionally accredited college? Official transcripts must be on file by the application deadline in the Records Office to receive points. All degrees and CNA, EMT and MA licenses will be verified online and must be current. Points are not combined (for example you will not get points for both an associate degree and being a CNA - you will get points for the associate degree)- select highest level only.

IMPORTANT: You must maintain a 2.5 GPA prior to the start of clinicals.

I understand to be considered for acceptance, my official GED or final high school transcripts (with graduation date) must be on file at HACC by June 5th.   Foreign education must be verified by a HACC approved credential evaluation service.  I understand that my admission will be forfeited should I not complete this requirement.

If accepted to clinicals, I understand that I must complete a physical exam, obtain immunization records, update all immunizations, complete the required background checks, child abuse clearances and drug and alcohol screening by the due date given to me (prior to the first day of the semester). If I do not complete all these requirements as directed, I will forfeit my admission. I understand that these requirements are at my expense and that they must be repeated yearly, while in the nursing program.
