Dig Brand Ambassador

We are seeking a hard-working, energetic, and dedicated Dig Brand Ambassadors with superb people and communication skills and some prior experience in hyper-localized marketing and/or events.  The ideal candidate has the ability to delicately balance the ability to follow direction while simultaneously being a self-starter.   The ideal candidate has an interest in start-ups, has exceptional organizational skills, highly professional verbal and written communication skills, and thrives in a fast pace and dynamic environment. 

In addition, it is integral that candidates embody the essence of our brand and have the energy, enthusiasm, and passion to be a strong ambassador of Dig.  The company’s mission is to utilize the driving forces of love, companionship, and community to provide a warm, open, and thriving environment to support our client’s journey for romance.  The Dig App captures the energy and emotions of dating and finding true love and infuses it with the passion and commitment of dog lovers.

As a brand ambassador, you may be exposed to a high level of information and experience and will need to communicate at a highly professional level.  Work will include but is not limited to outreach, communications, and follow-up with local partners, companies, and clients; helping to plan, organize, and market events; and executing hyper-localized marketing campaigns.

* 3. The Dig Brand Ambassador role is a combination of event planning and sales. Are you comfortable planning events and acting in a sales capacity by asking attendees to download the app and securing local partnerships?

* 4. Brand ambassadors get paid based on a percentage of their sales. Some events may be paid an hourly stipend as well. All payments will be made at the end of each month based on completed sales and hourly events worked in that month. Do you understand this payment structure and agree to the payment timeline?

* 6. There is no initial Dig budget to throw events. Brand ambassadors create their own budget through sales. As a brand ambassador, will you be able to find no-to-low cost opportunities through sales, fostering relationships with local companies and influencers, and partnerships?

* 7. Brand ambassadors have very flexible hours, but everyone is required to check in with Dig’s Outreach Coordinator once every two weeks by email, phone, or video conference. A mutual time will be agreed upon, and skipped a meeting results in removal from the position. Are you able to commit to a check-in meeting once every two weeks?

* 8. Dig events are fun and dog-friendly, and they embody the love, passion, and enthusiasm of dog-lovers. What is one specific and unique idea for a Dig event in your city that you would like to coordinate? Ideas have included Pokemon meetups at dog parks, brewery launch parties, "spa" days with groomers and hair stylists, speed dating at luxury dog-friendly hotels, and more.

* 9. We also have a remote-only position focused on sales for events, for Dig's Daily Deal section, and for Dig Unleashed. Instead of representing Dig in your community as a Brand Ambassador, are you interested in working from home and supporting Dig events remotely through sales and marketing?
