The Lancaster Partnership for Learning Equity is a collaboration between United Way of Lancaster County & The Steinman Foundation. The Partnership seeks to provide holistic support to scholars and families who live in Lancaster County, with a specific focus on remediating the impact of COVID-19 learning loss and summer learning loss. We are seeking highly engaged, creative & skilled educators who wish to do the same. This program uses Bellxcel materials to provide high quality, evidence based lessons in literacy, mathematics and social and emotional learning. Supplemental and enrichment activities can be layered in as well. Virtual lessons will take place from 9:30 am- 10:30 am & 11:00am-12:00pm Monday-Thursdays beginning on July 6th and ending August 6th. Friday activities are at the discretion of the teacher, and optional for students. Educators will be employed for 20 hours per week at a rate of $40.00/hour. Ten hours will be used for direct instruction & ten hours will be used for planning & individual connection with students (tutoring, family check-ins, etc.). This is truly a collaborative, grassroots effort. If you are a highly flexible, team oriented & child focused educator, we are looking for you!
