Call for mentors and mentees: Join the IAHR mentoring programme!

The IAHR Technical Committee on Education and Professional Development is pleased to launch this new long-term 1-1 mentoring programme.

This mentorship program is tailored for young professional members and new IAHR members who would like to know more about IAHR and get in touch with the expertise therein.

The IAHR community provide a great opportunity for networking. Young professionals and new IAHR members can benefit from mentoring to get to know IAHR and its members, be introduced into the IAHR Technical Committees and Working Groups, and to find easier access to this international network of scientists and experts.

IAHR is calling for senior scientists, as well as mid-career IAHR members with experience in IAHR Committees and Working Groups, to serve as mentors in a long-term mentoring programme.

IAHR invites young members to participate as mentees in the mentoring programme, to connect with senior members and engage in the IAHR community.

A testing phase will take place in a hybrid form, combining an online long-term relationship with in-person meetings, during the 13th International Conference on Fluvial Hydraulics (RiverFlow 2026), to be held in Thessaloniki (Greece) from June 30 to July 4, 2026.
