Land of Sky Regional Resilience Workshop |
2.3 Identify Important Community Assets (Essential Services/Critical Facilities & Infra)
Background:
For the Regional Resilience Assessment we have looked at exposure to flooding, wildfire and landslides for several asset classes, including government-owned and critical facilities as well as road networks. We have also assessed vulnerability and risk for commercial and residential properties.
With your input, we can better understand the vulnerabilities and risk for individual assets, and make sure we include the full range of essential services, and critical facilities and infrastructure in our analysis.
Purpose: Identify specific assets of concern for both the rapid vulnerability assessment and resilience-building strategy development.
Outcome: Prioritized list of community assets, which will be used to assign small groups for Workshops 2 & 3.
