Guaranteed Underwriting System (GUS) LOS/POS Survey

The USDA Section 502 Single Family Housing Guaranteed Loan Program (SFHGLP) is in the process of building out the integration specification for the Guaranteed Underwriting System (GUS). This will allow both lenders and vendors to integrate their Loan Origination System (LOS) and Point of Sale (POS) system with GUS to obtain underwriting recommendations and conduct business electronically. The specification will be developed to support the new Uniform Residential Loan Application (URLA) (that becomes effective in Quarter 1, 2020) and mapping it to the MISMO v3.4 Business Reference Model.

We are interested in finding out more about the LOS/POS systems being used to process SFHGLP loans. We would like to capture a comprehensive list of all the LOS/POS software being used by our partners. Your input is appreciated and will allow us to move forward with the development of specifications. Integration will assist lenders in streamlining the GUS application process by processing loans more efficiently and ultimately increasing production/ profit.
