40:40:20 gender balance in Local Government |
Women on Boards supports women achieving leadership roles in all walks of life to achieve its gender balance goal of 40:40:20 (that is 40% women, 40% men and 20% of either and or, any other gender).
As one of its advocacy campaigns this year, Women on Boards will be supporting the work of organisations such as a Women for Election Australia and Australian Women in Local Government to boost numbers of women seeking election to local councils.
