Lace up your running shoes and participate in the Inaugural Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Lambda Nu Omega Chapter Juneteenth Virtual Walk/Run - Celebrate Freedom. Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States.
On April 19 – 30, 2021 register on the link below. Sponsors and supporters, click on the link to support your favorite walker/runner! Please register and make your donations by May 25.
On May 29, all participants can pick up their Race Bag at Entrance A of Gurnee Mills Mall (near Dicks Sporting Goods).
The first 100 persons who sign up will receive a Race Medal. Race Bags can be mailed to you for an additional $5.00. Plan to walk or run during the dates of June 1 – 19, 2021. Enjoy this fun filled event with your family, friends, and loved ones while celebrating Juneteenth!
After the race, post your race time in the LNO Race Online Results Portal.
All event proceeds benefit Lambda Nu Omega Chapter scholarships and community programs.
