Please complete the following recertification application for the Legal Nurse Consultant Certified (LNCC) prior to your expiration date. LNCC Expiration Date is October 31st each year.
In order to recertify you must meet the following requirements prior to your LNCC expiration date:
  1. Have a current, unrestricted RN license
  2. At the time of application, attest to completing 2000 hours of legal nurse consulting practice within the last 5 years
  3. Complete 60 continuing education hours, which are outlined here, or sit for the exam

You may be audited prior to receiving your recertification. During an audit, the reviewer may request additional documentation if the provided documentation is not sufficient for any contact hours listed.

To uphold the integrity of the recertification process, all submitted contact hours will be reviewed for accuracy. If any discrepancies are identified, AALNC staff will reach out to you prior to issuing your recertification.

If the required contact hours are not met by the end of the recertification year, applicable fees will be reimbursed, excluding a non-refundable administrative fee, which will be assessed to support processing.

AALNC Member: $325
Non-Member: $450

Extended Deadline: Applications submitted between November 1–30 will be accepted with a $100 late fee. Click here to process an extended deadline application of $550.
