2027 LMC Policy Committee Sign-up

Thank you for helping shape LMC's legislative policies for the 2027 Legislative Session!

Please note: Committee members must be currently holding elected or appointed office in a Minnesota city.

Committee meetings will be held in a hybrid format with an in person option at the LMC building at 145 University Ave. West St. Paul, MN 55103 and a virtual option via Zoom.

Please note that electronic copies of policy packets will be e-mailed 1 week prior to meetings.

Improving Service Delivery
Improving Service Delivery: unfunded mandates, environmental mandates, elections, charter law, data privacy, government innovation and cooperation, and public safety.
Mondays: July 20, Aug. 17, Sept. 21| 9:30a.m.-Noon

Improving Local Economies
Improving Local Economies: growth management, land use, boundary adjustments, housing, transportation, economic development, and telecommunications.
Tuesdays: July 21, Aug. 18, Sept. 22| 9:30a.m.-Noon

Human Resources and Data Practices
Human Resources & Data Practices: employment law, labor relations, data practices, Open Meeting Law, personnel, and pensions.
Tuesdays: July 21, Aug. 18, Sept. 22| 1:30-4p.m.

Improving Fiscal Futures
Improving Fiscal Futures: municipal financial management, property and other taxes, state aid programs, and financial reporting requirements.
Wednesdays: July 22, Aug. 19, Sept. 23| 9:30a.m.-Noon
