Gunnedah Shire Council is running a temporary employment program to provide short term work to those affected by COVID-19 and the Drought. This opportunity is only available to residents of the Gunnedah Shire.

The Employment Program aims to provide temporary workers with:
·         Supplementary income to help lessen the financial impacts of the drought and COVID-19 on individuals and families
·         Temporary, flexible work conditions designed to fit within your needs and availability
·         Diverse work opportunities across a range of locations, and
·         An opportunity to learn new skills and gain current workplace experience

The casual employment is cordinated through a Gunnedah-based employment agency to complete a range of projects which may be undertaken anywhere in the Shire. Any required training will be provided as part of the program.
