Survey on recreational and personal transportation vehicles.

The survey includes just six quick questions and will be open until September 14, 2026.

The RM of Edenwold is reviewing the bylaws for recreational and personal transportation vehicles. Today, there are many different types of vehicles in use, including golf carts, e-bikes, e-scooters, ATVs, dirt bikes and snowmobiles. Our current bylaws address some of these vehicles, but e-scooters are not currently included. In Saskatchewan, e-scooters cannot be used in on public roads or public areas unless a municipality has passed a bylaw allowing their use. Without a municipal bylaw, e-scooters are limited to private property.
The RM is asking ratepayers to share their views about which vehicles should be allowed on municipal roads and pedestrian pathways, and what rules should apply. Your feedback will help Council understand community priorities and guide future updates to these bylaws.
