Session Description: As activism and social issues increases in our political landscape, it is imperative that we understand how we can best support those in our personal and professional communities.  Leaders must learn how to navigate uncomfortable situations, particularly those in which a member(s) of their communities find their actions to be hurtful or harmful.  It is equally, if not more, important to recognize how best to respond when faced with criticism and what resources to utilize for growth.  This session will provide the opportunity to role-play an uncomfortable scenario and identify strategies of how to best respond and support members of the community.  Additionally, there will be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions they might not feel comfortable asking to ensure they are well informed on how they can support all members within their community.
