Gov 2.0 Taskforce Report Card |
Gov 2.0 Taskforce 10 Years Report Card
It has been 10 years since the Gov 2.0 Taskforce handed down its recommendations, which were almost entirely accepted by the Government of the day. This survey is an opportunity to score the current status of these recommendations, whether they have progressed or potentially even regressed. Please share examples or experiences that illustrate your scoring. All sub recommendations are rolled into the top level recommendations for brevity, there are 13 top level recommendations.
We will be running an event on the 16th November 2019 to bring a diverse group of people together to discuss the report and results of this survey, to reflect on new and old opportunities and threats facing us, and to plan what we can do over the coming year to improve our public sector for the benefit of the communities of Austtalia. This survey is purposefully anonymous so that you can feel comfortable to be frank and fearless, which is hard at times for those working with or in our public sectors.
Please see the original report and earlier discussion paper if you want to refresh your memory on the details of each recommendation. The Department of Finance (AGIMO) was responsible for implementation and published this concluding report in 2012, though more work was continued under the Gov 2.0 tag till 2014 which continued to address recommendations.
Have fun :)
