Accessories, such as lights, lockers, winches, etc., in off-road vehicles are typically controlled via relays in the engine bay and toggle-switches in the cabin.

Imagine a more advanced design, where the switches/relays can be controlled not only by toggle-switches, but actions that car performs on its own (such as when lights automatically go on, high-beams, blinkers, etc.).

This design would still electrically isolate your accessories from the car's systems, but also talk to the car's computers to understand what's going on.

* 1. How many accessory connections in the engine bay would you like?

* 2. How many accessory connections in the vehicle cab would you like?

* 3. Are switches that can be activated automatically when the interior lights are turned on useful to you?

* 4. Are switches that can be activated automatically when the exterior lights are turned on useful to you?

* 5. Are switches that can be activated automatically when the high-beam lights are turned on useful to you?

* 6. Are switches that are enabled only when the ignition is turned on useful to you?

* 7. Is being able to configure your switch settings, and control them, via your smartphone or tablet useful to you?

* 8. Would you like switches to have the ability to perform complex actions, such as automatically dimming, turning on/off on a timer, activating with other switches like blinkers, etc.?

* 9. What other features would be useful to you? Sky is the limit... GPS tracking, diagnostic logging, trunk monkey, etc.

* 10. How much do you think a system like this should cost?
