Purpose of the Study
You are invited to participate in a research study by Daniel Andrés Rivera-Rosado from the University of Arizona Global Campus. The proposed quantitative correlational study explores the extent to which the variables of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions, predict faculty behavioral intention to use technology in ATS-accredited theological institutions. This study integrates the behavioral integration concept to propose an understanding towards the gap in cultivating a technology-enhanced educational environment in theological education. Examining the variables that can predict behavioral intention may support a further understanding of what factors have a stronger or weaker relationship with the behavioral intention of technology integration (Venkatesh et al., 2003). The faculty members for this proposed study are employees in an ATS-accredited theological education institution and range from various rank appointments (adjunct, assistant, associate, and full professor).
