About the Project
“Sonification” turns data into sound. While a soundscape is a composer’s interpretation of art, sonification creates music from data derived directly from the art itself. The in-person experience immerses the visitor in the music created from the artwork. The online visualizations give the visitor a better understanding of how the music relates to the artwork.
