Arcohe Union Elementary School District Bond Measure Opinion Survey

Possible School Bond Ballot Measure

The Arcohe Board of Trustees is currently discussing the possibility of putting a school bond measure on the November 2024 ballot based on the need for additional classroom space, adding hands-on science/technology/agriculture activities, and possibly constructing a multi-use facility for both school and Herald community use. If passed, the cost of the bond would be $30 per $100,000 of assessed home value (ex: the property tax bill for a home valued at $500,000 would be an additional $150 per year). This would allow the district to raise $5.8 million dollars through the sale of bonds and also access matching state funds for the projects.
