The finalists, who are apprentices or have graduated in the past 12 months, were were selected by AHCI master watchmakers. Some of these finalists have attended traditional watchmaking schools; others are self-taught.

The international scope of the competition is increasing rapidly. For our first edition (2015), we received applications from 4 countries; this year from 9, including Britain, Russia, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, India, Austria, United States and France.

To aim of the competition is to help raise the next generation of young independent watchmakers by identifying the most talented creations and publicly recognising their achievements. Your vote will join those of the 35 members of the AHCI and contribute to select the three winners.

The 3 winners will be presented on the 17th of March at Baselworld 2016 by the AHCI and F.P. Journe.

Structure of the voting form

Firstly, you will see a brief description of the applicants' projects and photos of their constructions. At the end, you will be able to rank them based on your preference. In line with the AHCI's watchmaking guidelines, please note that the most important evaluation criteria is technical ability; and secondly, design and aesthetics.

You can go back and forth between the finalists by pressing the "Next" and "Previous" buttons.

The deadline to vote is Thursday the 18th of February.
