Perpetrator Intervention Facilitator Training

This expression of interest is for people wishing to register for the 4 day Perpetrator Intervention Facilitator Training delivered by Stopping Family Violence. This training is for specialist family and domestic violence professionals working with adult male perpetrators in men's behaviour change programs or brief group work interventions. The training is suitable for both new and established practitioners. Should you meet the suitability criteria of the role and training prerequisites, you will be sent a code and link to register for the four-day training running from the 23rd of June to the 26th of June, 2026. The course cost is $994.50 for four days of catered training.

6.To meet eligibility for this training, we recommend both foundation training covering gender drivers, colonisation drivers, and complexity around coercive control, as well as the Safe & Together 4-day CORE training for multiple pathways to harm, perpetrator mapping, and interviewing skills. Due to the advanced nature of this training, we will not have time to revisit these skills and theory during this training.

The following courses run by Prevention Violence Together and Stopping Family Violence would meet eligibility criteria: FDV Foundational Training (such as Family and Domestic Violence Awareness, Best Practice in FDSV, or Recognise and Respond to Coercive Control). Please include any family and domestic violence training you have completed, including the name of the course or training, the training provider, and the year.
