Society has a mutual understanding of homelessness which is mostly street sleeping or being without a house. But it’s important to know there are different legal definitions of homelessness and you may have had experience with homelessness and not even have known it, which is pretty common, that’s how big an issue it is. But if you’ve experienced unfit housing (mould, no running water, no heating etc), overcrowding housing, sofa surfing, been in a hostel or temporary accommodation or or lived in a household that was experiencing or at risk of domestic abuse, these are all part of the umbrella of homelessness.
11.Do you have experience of the care system?
