1.Storming the Sound Conference -- South Puget Sound Region
Storming the Sound is a one-day conference for environmental educators in the South Puget Sound region. This is a great opportunity for teachers, environmental organizations with education programs, and students with an interest in a career in environmental education to learn about other Puget Sound educational programs, share insights and network with other educators.
Please join us to explore and foster models and best practices for Puget Sound environmental and sustainability education.
Storming the South Sound Conference will be held at the Port Defiance Zoo & Aquarium located at 5400 N. Pearl St.Tacoma WA, from 9:00 to 4:00 on Friday October 1, 2010.
Advance registration is required. Space is limited, so register early! A $10 fee will be collected at the door to cover the cost of snacks and breakfast. Any additional funds will go towards teacher stipends to cover the cost of a substitute.
