DigiPathConnect Survey

Digital Pathology Innovations in Cross-Border Connectivity, AI and Mass Spectrometry

A Survey on the Use of AI in Pathology and Digital Pathology for Second Opinions

Dear Pathologist,

Thank you for your interest in participating in this survey. This survey aims to understand your current practices, preferences, and challenges in using digital tools and AI in pathology. Your insights will directly inform the development of a user-driven platform that enhances clinical collaboration and supports the daily workflow of pathologists. This platform is being developed within the framework of the DigiPathConnect project, funded by Interreg Meuse-Rhine (NL-BE-DE) programme, an EU-fund for cross-border cooperation.

The DigiPathConnect project brings together academic and private partners from Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany to develop the region’s first integrated digital pathology platform for second opinion use. This platform, developed by Pathomation, will enable seamless case sharing, multilingual collaboration, and the use of AI-based tools to support accurate, timely diagnoses.
The survey of 39 questions takes approximately 15 minutes and all responses are confidential and used solely for the purpose of this research project. You have the option to remain anonymous. The results of this survey will be published in a peer-reviewed journal, to which you can opt to contribute at the end of the survey, for which we request your contact information.
