GlobalFest 2021

GlobalFest 2021 celebrations will look a little different this year. Health and safety has always been critically important to GlobalFest, but this year they take on even greater significance.
We are planning for a number of options, dependent on how major events are allowed to proceed in Calgary as restrictions ease, and we want your feedback. The Festival will be operated based on City and AHS guidelines.
In this survey, we will present five scenarios for your consideration.
In all scenarios:
- Masks will be mandatory
- There will be no in-person or at-the-gate ticket sales.
- All purchases will be online in advance of the event
- 2020 ticket holders wanting to redeem their 2020 tickets must exchange for 2021 tickets in advance of the event
- There is no onsite shuttle service for individuals with mobility restrictions - patrons must choose their seating area with that in mind
- There will be no opportunity to offer Children's Village
- Shuttle bus services with Southland Transport will still be available
- Festival start dates will be sometime between mid-August and mid-September
Seating and food vendor maps, as well as stage programming will be available for review prior to purchasing tickets or before exchanging previously purchased tickets and passes. Each seating area will have a unique set of services. Vendors will not be able to take food orders from seating areas other than their designated area.
Tickets cannot be discounted this year and as priced:
- $20+BF for general admission
- $45+BF for VIP
- Children under 5 free
