GRHC Volunteer Application

If you’d like to make an impact in your community or spend some time giving back to those who need help, consider volunteering at your local hospital. By volunteering at Grant Regional Health Center, you will make a difference in the lives of our patients, their families, and our community. Volunteers are at the heart of our hospital and will have the opportunity to serve patients, guests and assist staff.

· Gift Shop – volunteers will greet and assist shoppers, complete transactions, and help to maintain a neat and organized atmosphere in the gift shop.

· Otis Cookie Fundraiser – volunteers will assist with the monthly fundraiser with duties including cookie baking and packaging.

· Swing Bed program – volunteers will spend time with patients to foster a positive experience. Activities may include playing cards, visiting, or reading the newspaper.

· Patient Family Advisory Council – volunteers will be community members who have had an experience as a patient or family member of a patient at Grant Regional in the last five years. The volunteer will work with other volunteers and Grant Regional employees to elevate the quality of healthcare through group discussion and participation in improvement projects.

3. Following acceptance, you will receive information on how to complete the next steps to becoming a volunteer including completing an orientation session and a health clearance form & screening.
