Leadership Franklin County Youth - Application

Leadership Franklin County Youth is designed to provide learning opportunities to Franklin County high school sophomores during the year 2019-2020 with the goal of creating a community of young people who are actively engaged in responsible, ethical, and effective leadership.

Please review the time commitment in Question 2 before submitting. You must obtain permission from your parent/guardian and a school administrator/designee before you can be accepted. Application deadline is February 28, 2019. Paper applications are available by going to www.franklincountyworks.com and clicking on Leadership or at your Guidance Office.

* 2. Student Commitment:
If selected for Leadership Franklin County Youth I will participate to the best of my ability. This includes attendance at all sessions (including orientation and retreat), completion of related assignments, displaying mutual respect for adult facilitators and other student participants, and a desire for learning new skills and self-improvement. In the event that there is an emergency or illness and a student cannot attend a session, a makeup assignment must be completed.

The selection committee will be scheduling interviews during the month of March 2019 in your school. Students accepted into the program will be notified by April 30, 2019.
