Leadership Franklin County Youth - Application

Leadership Franklin County Youth is a highly selective leadership program providing learning opportunities to Franklin County high school sophomores (public, private or home school) with the goal of creating a youth community  who are actively engaged in responsible, ethical, and effective leadership.  The program is FREE to students due to the generous sponsorship of Wilson College.

Selected applicants will go through a virtual Zoom interview process with two of our Steering Committee members by the end of March 2021.  Students chosen for the new class will be notified by early April 2021 with orientation occurring in May 2021.  Due to the pandemic, LFCY sessions may occur virtually or in person during the year.

Please review the program time commitment in Question 2 before applying for this program.  Upon selection into the program, the Steering Committee will need to gain permission from your school administrator/designee to ensure your school status (grades/attendance and behavior) permits you to participate.

Application deadline is Monday February 22, 2021.
Due to the high volume of applicants we cannot accept applications after this date.
