Leadership Franklin County Youth - Reference
Leadership Franklin County Youth is a highly selective leadership program providing learning opportunities to Franklin County high school sophomores (public, private or home school) with the goal of creating a youth community who are actively engaged in responsible, ethical, and effective leadership. This program is offered FREE and is sponsored by Wilson College.
Students apply in their Freshman year (Dec-Feb) and begin in May 2021. Most of their experience is in their Sophomore year in high school.

This program is geared for students with leadership potential who may not be currently serving in any student leadership roles. Your help in providing a reference for a student will allow us to select students with potential to develop/grow in their leadership journey.
This reference should completed by an applicant's teacher, coach, school administrator or any other adult (20yo or older) that has served as a mentor to the student and is not a relative.

Selected applicants will go through a virtual Zoom call interview process with two of our steering committee members in March 2021. Students chosen for the new class will be notified by mid April 2021.
Students must be in good school status (grades/attendance and behavior) for them to participate.

Application and reference deadline is Monday February 22, 2022. The application packet is not complete without two references.
