The Lower East Side Ecology Center (LESEC) has been a cornerstone of environmental stewardship and justice, zero-waste education, and community green space care on the Lower East Side for decades. From community composting and recycling to environmental education and green space stewardship, our work is rooted in a belief that healthy, sustainable communities are built from the ground up by and with the people who live and work in them.

We are now embarking on a strategic planning process to shape our next five years. This is a moment to reflect on what we do well, where we want to grow, and how we best serve the communities that matter most to us. To do that well, we need to hear from you.
